Readings for Trinity 15 (focus text in bold):
Joshua 24:14-25 - Joshua charges the people of Israel to choose who they will serve and warns them that God is a holy God and cannot ignore their transgressions. Psalm 92 - "It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy Name, O Most Highest." Galatians 6:11-18 - "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature." Matthew 6:24-34 - "Be not therefore anxious, saying 'What shall we eat?' or, 'What shall we drink?' or, 'Wherewithal shall we be clothed," (for after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Sermon by the Rev.
