In this lesson we begin our eight week study of the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. We start first by unpacking where the idea of having a creed comes from, how the very idea of creeds reveals something essential to Christian faith, and how they relate to Scriptural authority in the life of the church.

We conclude our series on the Daily Offices in the Prayer Book by looking at the intercessory final section of the services. This includes the Lord's Prayer, the Suffrages, the Collects, and all the rest. We will also look at where you can find various topical prayers throughout the Prayer Book for use in the Office, and we briefly look at the Litany.
