This homily was delivered at Hillsdale College in the new Christ Chapel on the eve of Commencement, May 10, 2019.
While the Chapel was not yet complete, the College wanted the class of 2019 to enjoy the space before the graduation. So a special prayer service was planned just for them and their parents. Fr. Adam, our Rector and the Chaplain of Hillsdale College, was humbled and honored to deliver this, the first homily ever, in the new chapel.
This homily is based on the first few verses of Hebrews chapter 11, the beginning of "the roll call of faith."
